Alice Springs community came together for an Operation: Don’t Be A Dumper clean-up day.Despite challenging weather conditions, the Alice Springs community came together on Sunday 17 May 2026 to support Operation: Don’t Be A Dumper (DBAD).The event removed around 5,500kg of illegally dumped waste from a hotspot along Undoolya Road.The DBAD team, comprising staff from Environmental Regulation, Crown Lands, NT Parks, Alice Springs Town Council and Lhere Artepe Corporation, banded together to organise the event, encouraging community participation and protection of the beautiful environment around Alice Springs.Read more here.
