WELCOME TO COUNTRY

Lhere Artepe Aboriginal Corporation is the registered and recognised Prescribed Body Corporate representing the Native Title Holders of Alice Springs, following their court determination ruling and registered incorporated body in 2002.

As is protocol when visiting other places, Welcome to Country performances are a service we provide. There are three possible elements for a Welcome to Country:

1. Native Title Holder to attend and speak at your event, welcoming all attendees to Country
2. Inclusion of a smoking ceremony
3. Inclusion of a traditional dance

Lhere Artepe uses Native Title Holders to undertake such services at a small fee which goes back to the individual and body corporate.
