Ranger Programs – Welcome Joshua Randall

LAAC are proud to announce that we have secured the services of Joshua Randall as our Ranger Development Officer to build and establish a Caring For Country Program in Alice Springs.
Joshua has experience in this space with his most recent work being with the Kimberley Land Council in the Ranger Program Network.
Joshua commences in late March and will be located primarily at the Central Land Council office and LAAC Office.
LAAC thanks the CLC for their assistance in securing his services.

Lhere Artepe Aboriginal Corporation is proud to host the first Anwerne-Kenhe Alterreke Atnyentyeke Keep Our Ways Strong (KOWS) Interschool Event on Tuesday 5 August 2025 at Yirara College. The event will bring together students from Yirara College, Yipirinya School, and St Joseph’s Catholic Flexible School for a day of culture, sport, leadership, and community connection. In the lead-up to the event, students have been working on their entries for the KOWS Logo Design Competition – creating artwork that represents the message “Keep Our Ways Strong.” The winning design will be unveiled on the day, with prizes generously supported by local organisations, including Alice Springs Town Council and Yeperenye Shopping Centre. This event builds on the success of our recent KOWS NAIDOC celebration and continues our commitment to hearing from young people, strengthening cultural identity, and supporting safe and strong communities.
